Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/21/19) The Dominican College men's soccer team hosted the Georgian Court University Lions for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at OMM Field #5 in Orangeburg, N.Y. 

The Lions shutout the Chargers by a score of 2-0 to improve their record to 1-4 (1-0 CACC on the season. The Chargers fall to 1-4 (0-1 CACC) on the season. 

Joshua Stephens (Stony Creek, Ontario) started in net for the Chargers and Jamie Hickey started in net for the Lions. 

The game was scoreless through the whole first half. The Lions broke the scoreless tie in the second half with a goal by Luca Schad. The Lions extended their lead to 2-0 when Giovanni Ciocca-Vasino scored with ten minutes remaining. The Lions secured the 2-0 win. 

Ewan Gray (Middlesbrough, England) recorded two shots for the Chargers and one on goal. Maximino Casares-Martinez (Ciudad De Panama, Panama) also recorded two shots and one on goal. Jhosep Tovar (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and Michael Matwieczuk (Airmont, N.Y.) also took two shots. 

The Chargers will look to bounce back on Tuesday, September 24th when they host Mercyhurst University at OMM field #5 at 1:00 PM.
