Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/30/19) The Dominican College men's soccer team fell in non-conference action to the visiting Purple Knights from the University of Bridgeport, 3-1, this afternoon in a game played at OMM Field #5.

With the loss, Dominican falls to 2-6 on the season.

UB got on the scoreboard in the 17th minute of action to take a 1-0 lead and added to it in the 76th and 79th minute for the 3-0 lead.

Sophomore Antonio Zhu Sanchez (Alfafar Valencia, Spain) converted a penalty kick opportunity at the 85:47 mark to cut the deficit to 3-1.

Tyler Doll (St. Louis, Mo.) made six saves in 66 minutes in the Charger net, while Joshua Stephens (Stony Creek, Ontario) had three saves in the remaning 23:37.

Dominican will return to conference action on Wednesday evening when they travel to Nyack College.
