Bloomfield, N.J. (9/14/22) The Dominican University New York men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw tonight with the Bears of Bloomfield College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action on Foley Field.

With the tie, the Chargers are now 1-2-3 overall and 0-1-1 in CACC play.

The contest remained scoreless at the intermission with both teams take five shots a-piece.

Dominican produced a score at 65:59 when senior Ewan Gray (Middlesbrough, England) netted his third goal of the season.

The Bears tied the game in the 74th minute as Raynaldo StBernard recorded his first goal of the year.

Bloomfield held the 11-8 advantage in shots, while the Chargers had the 4-2 edge in corner kicks.

Charger keeper David Arteaga (Middlesex, N.J.) made four saves in the tie.

Up next for Dominican is a road trip to Wilmington University for a CACC contest.  Game time is set for 2:30pm.
