THREE MEN'S TENNIS PLAYERS EARN CACC ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS
New Haven, Conn. (6/7/22) Seventeen (17) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2021-22 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 17 honorees represent all five CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.

(6/7/22) Seventeen (17) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2021-22 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 17 honorees represent all five CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.
University of the Sciences led the way with six honorees on the team, including Pedro Ramos and Oscar Serra with team-high cumulative grade point averages of 3.93. Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University and Post University followed with three honorees apiece.
Dominican University New York had three players named to the team. Skylar Ross (Johannesburg, South Africa) and Guilherme Salim (Brasilia, Brazil) both make their second appearance on the All-Academic Team, while Qalib Bahadurali Ladhani (Guelph, Ontario) earns his first All-Academic honors.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
♦ Six of the honorees earned GPAs of 3.90 or higher.
♦ Five of the honorees made the CACC Men's Tennis All-Academic Team for the second time.
♦ Two of the honorees made the All-Academic squad for the third time.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
