SALIM AND LEE REACH 2022 ITA EAST REGIONAL TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINALS

Flushing, N.Y. (9/25/22) The Dominican University New York men's tennis duo of Guilherme Salim (Brasilia, Brazil) and Marcos Lee (New York, N.Y.) made it to the 2022 ITA East Regional Tournament Men's Doubles Quarterfinals which took place today at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Flushing, N.Y. (9/25/22) The Dominican University New York men's tennis duo of Guilherme Salim (Brasilia, Brazil) and Marcos Lee (New York, N.Y.) made it to the 2022 ITA East Regional Tournament Men's Doubles Quarterfinals which took place today at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The tournament began this past Thursday where the team began play in the round of 32 after receiving a first round bye and defeated their opponents, Philipp Uhde and Francisco Gonzalez of Queens College N.Y., 9-7.

In action yesterday, the team bested their foes 6-3, 6-3 to advance into quarterfinal action held today.

Today, Salim and Lee fell in a close knit match by the scores of 6-4, 4-6, 8-10 to end their run in the tournament.

This is the furthest a doubles team from Dominican University New York has gone in the tournament.
