Philadelphia, Pa. (4/11/23) The Dominican university New York men's tennis team lost to Thomas Jefferson University, 5-2, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played at Salaman Tennis Courts.

The doubles team of Guilherme Salim (Brasilia, Brazil) and Marcos Lee (New York, N.Y.) won their match in first doubles by the score of 6-4.  The Rams took the next two double matches for the early 1-0 advantage.

Salim ended the afternoon 2-0 after picking up a hard fought victory in first singles by the scores of 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 10-7 to tie the match at 1-all.

Dominican's other point came in fifth singles match as Ander Cantero Sadaba (San Sebastian, Spain) rallied to defeat his counterpart, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.
