MEN'S TENNIS PLACE THREE ON CACC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
New Haven, Conn. (5/9/23) Twelve (12) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. All four CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.

New Haven, Conn. (5/9/23) Twelve (12) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. All four CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.
Dominican University New York had three players named to the team. Guilherme Salim (Brasilia, Brazil) and Skylar Ross (Johannesburg, South Africa) were named to the team for the third time, while Qalib Bahadurali Ladhani (Guelph, Ontario) earns his first CACC All-Academic honors.
Post University led the way with four honorees on the list.
NOTES ON ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
♦ Two student-athletes posted GPAs of 3.90 or higher (Joao Sousa of Chestnut Hill College - 3.92 & Daniel Cristobal of Post - 3.91).
♦ Dominican University's Skylar Ross and Guilherme Salim were named to the CACC Men's Tennis All-Academic Team for the third time in their respective careers.
♦ Five were named to the unit for the second time in their respective careers.
♦ CACC Champion Thomas Jefferson University had a trio of players make the team, and included Hannibal Borg (3.64), German Lopez Andujar (3.83) and Enrique Soto Ballester (3.89).
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
