MEN'S TRACK TAKE THIRD PLACE AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Lakewood, N.J. (5/1/16) The Dominican College men's track team finished in third place at the 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Track and Field Championships, hosted by Georgian Court University.

Freshman Seth Wilson (Monroe, N.Y.) won the 100m dash event in a time of 11.15. Teammate Andrew Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took second place with a time of 11.35, while Dylan Roadarmel (New City, N.Y.) finished in seventh place with a time of 11.67. Elijah Castro (Bergenfield, N.J.) took 14th place with a time of 12.05.
Wilson also won the 200m dash on a time of 22.45, while Michael Merced (Pearl River, N.Y.) finished in second place with a time of 22.50. Roadarmel finished in 13th place with a time of 24.64, while Pierre took 17th place with a time of 25.33.
Merced took the top spot in the 400m dash with a time of 49.89, while DeCarlo Richards (New City, N.Y.) finished in second place with a time of 50.67.
Distance runner James Feeney (Stony Point, N.Y.) finished in seventh place in the 1000m run with a time of 38.11.25.
In the 400m hurdles event, Adrian Spaulding (New Castle, Del.) finished in ninth place with a time of 1:04.59.
The 4x100m relay team of Richards, Pierre, Roadarmel and Wilson won the event with a time of 43.32.
The team of Spaulding, Richards, Wilson and Merced took the third place in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:36.14.
Richards finished in second place in the long jump with a jump of 6.33m (20 feet, 9.25 inches).
