CHARGERS COMPETE AT QUEENSBOROUGH RELAYS

Michael Merced (Pearl River, N.Y.) won the 400m dash with a time of 49.61. Jaylen Cruz (Middletown, N.Y.) took 14th place with a time of 53.98.
Junior Andrew Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took fourth place in the 100m dash with a time of 11.57. Dylan Roadarmel (New City, N.Y.) took 25th place with a time of 12.27.
In the 1500m run, Oscar Vidal (New City, N.Y.) ran a time of 5:05.25 to finish in 20th place.
Freshman Ryan McKivergan (New City, N.Y.) competed in the 400m hurdles where he took 13th place with a time of 1:08.90.
In the 4x100m relay, the team of Savonn Maye (Springfield, N.J.), Pierre, Roadarmel and Justin Estevez (Nanuet, N.Y.) took fourth place with a time of 45.38.
The 4x200m relay team of Maye, Pierre, Merced and Cruz won the event with a time of 1:33.26.
Cameron Whitton (Monroe, N.Y.), Darren Guzman (Teaneck, N.J.), Vidal and Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) competed in the 4x800m relay where they took seventh place with a time of 9:31.27.
Sophomore George Psarakis (Monroe, N.Y.) took 12th place in the shot put where he took 12th place with a throw of 10.37m (34 feet, 0.25 inches).
Connor Croke (Watertown, Conn.) competed in the javelin throw where he finished in 12th place with a throw of 32.73m (107 feet, 4 inches).
