MEN'S TRACK TRAVEL TO UALBANY WINTER CLASSIC

Staten Island, N.Y. (2/8/20) Members of the Dominican College men's track team traveled to the UAlbany Winter Classic held yesterday at Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex.

Staten Island, N.Y. (2/8/20) Members of the Dominican College men's track team traveled to the UAlbany Winter Classic held yesterday at Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex.

In the 60m dash, Brandon Adams (Highlans Mills, N.Y.) had the high finish of 49th place with a time of 7.35. Lowell Pierrette (Elmsford, N.Y.) took 56th place with a time of 7.42, while Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, N.J.) fnished in 61st place with a time of 7.49. Hector DeLorenzo (Ridgefield Park, N.J) had a time of 7.84 to finish in 79th place.

Pierrette also competed in the 200m dash where he took 63rd place with a time of 23.24.

The 400m dash saw Jaylen Cruz (Middletown, N.Y.) take 69th place with a time of 52.65, while Patrick Bateman (Peal River, N.Y.) finished in 76th place with a time of 53.52.

Oscar Vidal (New City, N.Y.) ran the mile event in a time of 5:15.54 to finish in 57th place and Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) finished in 58th place with a time of 5:16.28.

The 4x400m relay team of Bateman, Cruz, Cameron Whitton (Monroe, N.Y.) and Pierrette took ninth place with a time of 3:37.72.

Adams also competed in the high jump where he finished in ninth place with a jump of 1.90m (6 feet, 2.75 inches).

In the long jump Pierrette took 42nd place with a jump of 5.92m (19 feet, 5.25 inches) and DeLorenzo finished in 45th place with a jump of 5.41m (17 feet, 9 inches).

Dominican will travel to the Monmouth Winter Invitational next weekend.
