CHARGERS ATTEND MONMOUTH WINTER INVITATIONAL
Monmouth, N.J. (2/16/20) The Dominican College men's track and field team attended the Monmouth Winter Invitational held this weekend at the OceanFirst Bank Center.

Junior Cameron Whitton (Monroe, N.Y.) took 14th place in the 800m run with a time of 2:18.58.
Patrick Bateman (Pearl River, N.Y.) finished in 15th place in the 400m dash with a time of 53.84, while Jaylen Cruz (Middletown, N.Y.) took 17th place with a time of 54.02.
Sophomore Lowell Pierrette (Elmsford, N.Y.) ran in the 60m dash where he finished in 28th place with a time of 7.44. Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, N.J.) finished in 33rd place with a time of 7.52 and Hector DeLorennzo (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) took 46th place with a time of 7.83.
Pierrette and Bateman finished in 16th and 17th place respectively in the 200m dash with times of 24.00 and 24.06. Cruz took 20th place with a time of 24.15 and Suarez finished in 22nd place with a time of 24.19. DeLorenzo finished in 40th place with a time of 26.01.
In the 1 mile run Oscar Vidal (New City. N.Y.) took took 23rd place with a time of 5:12.52 and Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.H.) finished in 24th place with a time of 5:12.73.
The 4x400m relay team of Cruz, Pierrette, Whitton and Bateman finished the race in a time of 3:38.22 to finish in fourth place.
DeLorenzo competed in the long jump and finished in 13th place with a jump of 5.92m (19 feet, five inches), while Pierrette took 18th place with a jump of 5.79m (18 feet, 11.95 inches)
Freshman Vincent Faison (Chester, N.Y.) took part in the shot put and finished in 25th place with a throw of 6.72m (22 feet, 0.56 inches).
DC will travel to the Armory Last Chance Meet this coming Friday.
