LAUREDENT AND TUCKER LEAD TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS AT RAMAPO SPRING OUTDOOR OPENER
Mahwah, N.J. (4/1/23) The Dominican University New York men's and women's track and field teams competed the last two days at the Ramapo College Spring Outdoor Opener. The men's team finished in ninth place among 16 teams, while the women's team finished in 13th place among 20 teams.

MEN'S RESULTS
- The triple jump saw Kenney Lauredent (Pomona, N.Y.) win the event with a jump of 14.09m (46' 2.75"). Jeffrey Li Rivera (Suffern, N.Y.) finished in 11th place with a jump of 12.06m (39' 6.75").
- Adam Lenn (Thiells, N.Y.) had the finish of third place in the discus throw with a throw fo 42.71m (140' 1"). Louis Rodriguez (Monsey, N.Y.) finished in 11th place with a throw of 33.85m (111' 0").
- In the shot put event, Lenn took fifth place with a throw of 13.89m (45' 7"). Lawrence Ribeiro (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) finished in 17th place with a throw of 9.74m (31' 11.50").
- Olatunji Adewole (North Plainfield, N.J.) finished in fifth place in the 400m dash with a time of 51.46, while Samuel Fileen (Monroe, N.Y.) took 32nd place with a time of 54.68. Prince Copeland (Haverstraw, N.Y.) ran a time of 55.62 to finish in 35th place and Steven Smith (Yonkers, N.Y.) took 42nd place with a time of 57.15.
- In the high jump, Lauredent took 7th place with a jump of 6.40m (21' 0"), while Li Rivera finished in 21st place with a jump of 5.76m (18' 10.75").
- The men's 4x100m relay team of Aidan Mallon (Bohemia, N.Y.), Adewole, Lauredent and Brian Thompson (North Bergen, N.J.) took eighth place with a time of 45.64.
- In the 4x400m relay, the team of Thompson, Fileen, Smith and Adewole took ninth place with a time of 3:32.71.
- Ribeiro finished in 11th place in the hammer throw with a throw of 26.23m (86' 0").
- In the 100m dash Thompson took 17th place with a time of 11.50 and Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, N.J.) finished in 26th place with a time of 11.77. Mallon ran a time of 12.15 to take 38th place.
- Rodriguez took 18th place in the javelin throw with a throw of 34.47m (113' 1"). Vincent Faison (Chester, N.Y.) finished in 22nd place with a throw of 19.63m (64' 5").
- Freshman Aidan Nelson (Tappan, N.Y.) competed in the 1500m run and took 38th place with a time of 4:33.36. Daniel Pinilla (Blauvelt, N.Y.) took 50th place with a time of 4:54.58, while Copeland ran a time of 5:07.39 to place 56th. Chase Freed (Queensbury, N.Y.) took 57th place with a time of 5:16.11.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
- In the javelin throw, Miranda Tucker (Nassau, Bahamas) took fifth place with a throw of 32.04m (105' 1"). Kristen Teklits (New Fairfield, Conn.) finished in 16th place with a throw of 20.30m (66' 7").
- Tucker finished in sixth place in the shot put event with a throw of 10.67m (35' 0.25"). Stacy Eliezer (New City, N.Y.) claimed 16th place with a throw of 9.20m (30' 2.25")
- The hammer throw saw Eliezer take eighth place with a throw of 30.81m (101' 1").
- Eliezer finished in 14th place in the discus throw with a throw of 28.45m (93' 4"). Andrea Clark (Welwyn, U.K.) took 20th place with a throw of 22.33m (73' 3").
- Freshman Jayda Jones (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) placed 14th in the 100m dash with a time of 13.47. Krystal Parris (Toronto, Canada) took 31st place with a time of 14.41, while Anjalice Arias (Middletown, N.Y.) finished in 35th place with a time of 15.28 and Chidinma Ndukauba (Brooklyn, N.Y.) took 37th place with a time of 15.46.
- In the 400m dash, Julia Dunne (Babylon, N.Y.) ran a time of 1:06.86 to finish in 21st place.
- The 200m dash saw Jones take 24th place with a time of 28.15. Dunne finished in 37th place with a time of 29.19 and Parris finished in 44th place with a time of 31.12. Arias took 46th place with a time of 32.29.
- Anna Murphy (Holbrook, N.Y.) took 25th place in the 1500m run with a time of 5:46.23.
