Bronx N.Y. (9/17/17) The Dominican College men's cross country team finished in 10th place today at the Queensborough CC XC Invitational held at Van Cortlandt Park.
The team compiled a combined score of 286 to finish in 10th place.
Freshman Oscar Vidal (New City, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Chargers as he took ninth place with a time of 29:15.4 (5:53.1 average) in the 8k race.
Connor Croke (Watertown, Conn.) finished in 45th place overall with a time of 31:21.5 (6:18.5 average) and Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) ran a time of 31:30.9 (6:20.4 average) to finish in 50th place overall.
Fellow rookie Ryan McKivegan (New City, N.Y.) took 77th place overall with a time of 32:50.7 (6:36.4 average), while sophomore Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) averaged 7:11.3 per mile for a 35:44.3 total time and 135th overall finish.
Senior Adam Klein (Nanuet, N.Y.) finished in 145th place overall with a time of 36:57.4 (7:26.0 average).
Dominican is set to compete at the Mount St. Mary Knight Invite on September 30th.
