Newark, Del. (10/8/17) The Dominican College men's cross country team traveled to the University of Delaware Blue & Gold Classic held yesterday and hosted by the University of Delaware.
Newark, Del. (10/8/17) The Dominican College men's cross country team traveled to the University of Delaware Blue & Gold Classic held yesterday and hosted by the University of Delaware.
As a team, the Chargers finished in seventh place with a total time of 2:43.20 (32:40 average) in the 8k race.
Freshman Oscar Vidal (New City, N.Y.) took 12th place overall with a time of 28:48.5 (5:47.7 average) to be the top finisher for DC.
Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) ran a time of 31:16.3 (6:17.4 average) to take 33rd place, while Connor Croke (Watertown, Conn.) finished in 34th place with a time of 31:30.2 (6:20.2 average).
Senior Adam Klein (Nanuet, N.Y.) had a time of 35:31.4 (7:08.7 average) to finish in 53rd place, while David Jeffers (Florida, N.Y.) finished in 55th place with a time of 36:14.4 (7:17.4 average).
Dominican is set to compete next at the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships, which will be hosted by Goldey-Beacom College on October 22nd.
