ZIGIC EARNS ALL-CACC HONORS AS TEAM FINISHES EIGHTH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Newark, Del. (10/22/17) Dominican College cross country runner, Jovan Zigic (Burnaby, British Columbia) finished in 10th place today at the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships to earn All-CACC honors. The team finished with a combined score of 211 to finish in eighth place overall in the race held at White Clay Creek State Park and hosted by Goldey-Beacom College.

The senior runner earns his first All-CACC honors as he ran the 8k race in a time of 27:48.6 to be the top finisher for the Chargers.
Rookie Oscar Vidal (New City, N.Y.) took 17th place overall with a time of 28:01.7, while Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) ran a time of 29:54.4 to finish in 50th place overall.
Connor Croke (Watertown, Conn.) finished in 61st place overall in the title race with a time of 30:47.1 and Ryan McKivergan (New City, N.Y.) took 73rd place with a time of 32:23.0.
Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) had a time of 34:34.8 to finish in 81st place.
