RAGAZZO TABBED ECAC ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/13/13) The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is pleased to announce that Dominican College softball player, Kimberly Ragazzo, has been named the 2013 Division II Rookie of the Year as was announced yesterday. Kate Pratt of Mansfield University was named the Player of the Year, while Courtney Wilson of Caldwell College earned Pitcher of the Year accolades.

Kate Pratt of Mansfield University was named the Player of the Year, while Courtney Wilson of Caldwell College earned Pitcher of the Year accolades.
These major awards headlined the All-Star selections that are based on a vote of regional coaches, or their respective designee among ECAC members.
Ragazzo was a two-way standout during her freshman campaign. Ragazzo batted .364, while leading Dominican College in RBI (53) and runs (49). Ragazzo also made 22 appearances on the mound, including 7 complete games and a shutout, to post a 2.62 era in conference play. Her First-Team accolades also include: All-CACC, NFCA All-Region East, and Daktronics NCAA Division II Softball All-East Region.
