LADY CHARGERS TAKE TWO FROM FELICIAN UNIVERISTY
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/23/17) The Dominican College softball team improved to 23-16 overall and 15-5 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating the visiting Golden Falcons of Felician University, 1-0 and 4-2 this afternoon in games played at the DC Softball Field.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/23/17) The Dominican College softball team improved to 23-16 overall and 15-5 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating the visiting Golden Falcons of Felician University, 1-0 and 4-2 this afternoon in games played at the DC Softball Field.
Game One: The lone run of the game came in the bottom of the second inning as left fielder Alyssa Siess (Queens, N.Y.) hit a two out solo home run over the left field fence for the 1-0 lead and win.
Emily Luzetsky (Bel Air, Md.) and Alexandra Pannuto (New Paltz, N.Y.) had the other two hits for Dominican.
Jennifer Paride (Stonington, Conn.) recorded her first no-hitter and fifth shut out of the season.
Game Two: Dominican scored two runs in the bottom of the first stanza as designated player Taylor Daniels (Watervliet, N.Y.) and Alexandria Ledgerwood (Salem, Ore.) had back-to-back run-scoring hits down the left field line for the early 2-0 advantage.
Felician scored runs in the fourth and fifth innings to tie the score, 2-2, but the Lady Chargers regained a 3-2 edge in the bottom of the fifth as Victoria Brooks (Bear, Del.) got the RBI ground out.
Pannuto increased the lead to 4-2 in the sixth with an RBI single to left field.
Right fielder Samantha Fitzgerald (Fishkill, N.Y.) led the team with two hits in the win.
Reliever Emily Larsen (Midlothian, Ill.) picked up the win (4-0) in two and 1/3 innings, scattering two hits and striking out three.
