#5 DEVILS ELIMINATE #6 LADY CHARGERS FROM CACC SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

(5/6/22) The fifth-seeded Devils from the University of the Sciences eliminated the sixth-seeded Lady Chargers of Dominican College, 5-4, this morning at the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball Championship Tournament which is hosted by Georgian Court University.

(5/6/22) The fifth-seeded Devils from the University of the Sciences eliminated the sixth-seeded Lady Chargers of Dominican College, 5-4, this morning at the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball Championship Tournament which is hosted by Georgian Court University.
The game was scoreless through five and a half innings when the Devils struck for three runs on back-to-back hits. USCI added two more runs in the sixth to increase the lead to 5-0.
Dominican got on the scoreboard in their final at-bats as they scored four runs on four hits. With two outs, first basemen Madison Walker (Southampton, N.J.) hit a two-run double to left field. Two batters later, designated player Kamryn Raya (Corona, Calif.) brought home two runs with a singe up-the-middle for the final 5-4 score.
Outfielder Jenna O'Reilly (Suffern, N.Y.) collected two hits in the loss.
With the loss Dominican ends their season with an overall record of 20-24.
