DRAGONS TAKE TWO FROM LADY CHARGERS
Clermont, Fla. (2/26/23) The Dominican University New York women's softball team lost two games to the Tiffin University Dragons in non-conference games played today at The Spring Games.

Clermont, Fla. (2/26/23) The Dominican University New York women's softball team lost two games to the Tiffin University Dragons in non-conference games played today at The Spring Games.
Dominican now stands at 0-4 on the season, while the Dragons improve to 4-5.
Game One: In the opening game, the Dragons won 8-0 in five innings.
Designated player, Jalaeya LaPorte (Sylmar, Calif.), went 2-2 in the game.
Emily Angulo (Wilmington, Calif.), Giovanna Salcido (Diamond Bar, Calif.) and Haylee Redmond Ridge (Bellflower, Calif.) all had a hit in the game.
Game Two: The Lady Chargers trailed 2-0 until the bottom of the third inning LaPorte singled home a run and right fielder Nicole Mata (Sylmar, Calif.) followed with an RBI single for the 2-2 tie.
Tiffin rallied with runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth frames for the 12-2 win.
Chloe McIntosh (Menifee, Calif.) and Toni-Jo Lopez (Sylmar, Calif.) had the two ther Dominican hits.
The Lady Chargers return to action at The Spring Games on Tuesday morning when they take on Assumption University in a double-header.
