WOMEN'S TRACK END SEASON AT NYC QUALIFYING CHALLENGE
Randall's Island, NY (5/10/10) The Dominican College women's track and field team wrapped up the 2010 season at the NYC Qualifying Challenge which was held at the legendary Ichan Stadium this past Saturday.

The 100 meter dash event saw freshman Michelle Brito (Washington Heights, NY) fourth in her heat and 12th overall in the preliminaries with a time of 15.61. Teammate Tameekia Cooper (New Rochelle, NY) placed fifth in her heat and 11th overall in the preliminaries with a time of 13.78.
In the 400 meter dash event freshman Julia Miller (Mount Vernon, NY) placed ninth overall and finished fourth in her heat with a time of 1:00.40.
Sophomore distance runner Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) placed eighth in the second heat and 15th overall in the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:38.92.
Sophomore co-captain Samantha Klunk (York, PA) participated in the difficult 3000 meter steeplechase where she took third place with a time of 13:10.61.
