Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/22/14)  The Dominican College women's basketball team fell to Molloy College, 68-55, this afternoon in the first game of the 2nd Annual Regina Rivera Memorial Tournament, hosted by Dominican College on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.

The first half was a tight knight battle with the lead never being more than three points.  A Lisa Bouffad (Wallkill, N.Y.) free throw tied the score at 27-27 with 47 seconds left, but Molloy ended the stanza with two free throws for the 29-27 advantage.

Molloy never lost the lead in the second half en route to teh 68-55 win.

Bouffard led DC with the double-double of 14 points and 10 caroms.

Deja Gabbidon (Teaneck, N.J.) came off the bench to score 10 points and grab seven rebounds, while Shannon McGill (Staten Island, N.Y.) added nine points.

Sara Ismail (Clifton, N.J.) netted eight points and six rebounds in the loss.

Following the loss, Dominican falls to 0-4 on the season.

DC will take on Dowling College tomorrow at 1pm on Coach Baxter Court for the final day of the Second Annual Regina Rivera Memorial Tournament.
