GABBIDON EARNS ALL-CACC FIRST TEAM HONORS
Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/26/16) Dominican College women's basketball player, Déja Gabbidon, has been named to the 2015-2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-CACC Women's Basketball First Team as was announced by by Commissioner Dan Mara.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/26/16) Dominican College women's basketball player, Déja Gabbidon, has been named to the 2015-2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-CACC Women's Basketball First Team as was announced by by Commissioner Dan Mara.
The senior forward from Teaneck, N.J., currently leads the CACC in points (505), points per game (18.0) and field goals (192). She ranks second in free throws (98), free throw percentage (85.2%), defensive rebounds (193), total rebounds (293), is third in rebounds per game (10.5) and fourth in offensive rebounds (100).
Gabbidon has earned two CACC Player of the Week honors this season, along with one Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week accolades and one CACC Defensive Player of the Week selections.
She also became the 26th player in Lady Charger history to reach the 1,000 career point plateau back on January 30th, 2016. She currently has scored 1,143 points and 736 rebounds.
This is her first All-CACC honors.
