The win at the WU Athletics Center improves the Lady Chargers record to 2-13 overall and 2-4 in CACC play.
Dominican shot well from behind the arc as they went 7-13 (53.8%) in the game.
The game was tied, 24-all, at the break when DC outscored the 'Cats 22-15 in the third frame to take a 46-39 advantage. Tied at 26, Dominican went on a 10-0 tear to give them the double-digit lead (36-26) with four minutes remaining in the quarter. A trey from senior shooter Shannon McGill (Staten Island, N.Y.) with under two to go gave Dominican their biggest lead of the contest, 44-31.
The Lady Chargers were led by junior guard Rebecca Rabeiro (Midland Park, N.J.) who netted an afternoon best 19 points and four steals.
McGill finished with 14 points off the bench, going 4-6 from the three-point arc.
Senior Jacqueline Rywalt (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) recorded a game best eight assists and team high six rebounds in the win.
Forward Sara Ismail (Clifton, N.J.) scored eight points and five rebounds in reserve.
Dominican will travel to CACC foe, Holy Family University, this coming Tuesday evening.
