Senior guard Jacqueline Rywalt (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) scored a career high 13 points and recorded team bests in both rebounds (8) and assists (5).
The Lady Charger offense was hot in the first quarter as they outscored their opponents, 14-3. DC netted the first nine points of the contest en route to the double-digit advantage.
GBC rallied to outscore Dominican, 16-11 to cut the deficit to 25-19 at the intermission.
The Lightning would cut the lead to two points (30-28) with a little over two minutes left in the third frame, but five unanswered DC points (four of them coming from Rywalt would rebuild a seven point lead (35-28) going into the final quarter.
In the fourth, Dominican's lead would never get below seven points as they went on to the 57-45 victory.
Stefani Alston (West Orange, N.J.), Rebecca Rabeiro (Midland Park, N.J.) scored nine points a-piece and combined for nine rebounds.
Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) also netted nine points and grabbed seven boards in reserve.
Dominican improves to 4-13 and 4-4 in CACC play.
The Lady Chargers will host Felician University on Monday night.
