With the win the Lady Chargers improve to 8-14 overall and 8-5 in CACC play.
The DC offense took control of the contest early as they outscored their opponents, 20-9, in the first 10 minutes en route to a 39-20 halftime lead. Dominican netted more points than the Rams in three of the four periods.
Dominican shot 57.1% (8-14) from the three point arc, while shooting 42.6% (20-47) from the floor and 77.4% (24-31) from the foul line.
Junior guard Rebecca Rabeiro (Midland Park, N.J.) led two Lady Chargers in double figure with 16 points (going 8-12 from the free throw line), three steals and grabbing five rebounds and a team high four assists.
Forward Lisa Bouffard (Wallkill, N.Y.) tallied 15 points and five boards, while Stefani Alston (West Orange, N.J.) recorded a team high six caroms.
Shannon McGill (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored nine points and Sara Ismail (Clifton, N.J.) added eight points.
The Lady Chargers will host Caldwell University this coming Wednesday evening.
