BOUFFARD RECORDS CAREER HIGH IN VICTORY OVER GEORGIAN COURT UNIVERSITY

(2/11/17) Senior forward Lisa Bouffard (Wallkill, N.Y.) netted a career high 25 points to lead three Lady Chargers in double figures as they charged past host, Georgian Court University, 79-67, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played in the Wellness Center Arena.

Junior guard Rebecca Rabeiro (Midland Park, N.J.) added 14 points and team bests of six assists and five steals.
Senior Jacqueline Rywalt (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) contributed 10 points and four assists.
Stefani Alston (West Orange, N.J.) grabbed a team high eight rebounds in the victory.
The Lady Charger offense took advantage of 25 points off Lion turnovers, 24 points in the paint and 19 second chance points.
The first frame saw neither team have more than a three-point advantage and sophomore Brittany Stone (Paramus, N.J.) gave DC a 19-18 edge at the buzzer with a jumper.
GCU outscored Dominican 17-15 in the second quarter to take the slight, 35-34 lead into the locker room at the break.
DC used a 12-0 run in the beginning of the third quarter to gain a 48-37 edge and would use a layup from Rabeiro to keep them ahead, 54-51 at the end of three quarters.
A 14-0 fourth quarter run put the Lady Chargers in the lead for good en route to the double-digit win.
With the win, Dominican improves to 10-15 overall and 10-6 in CACC play.
The Lady Chargers return home on Wednesday evening as they will host Post University in their Pink Game.
