WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ENDS REGULAR SEASON WITH LOSS TO BEARS
Bloomfield, N.J. (2/21/17) The Dominican College women's basketball team ended the regular season with a loss to Bloomfield College, 59-67, this evening in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division finale played in the Bloomfield College Gym.

Dominican trailed 30-25 going into the third quarter when the team netted the first six points to pull ahead, 31-30, with 7:37 left. Ten unanswered Bear points reclaimed the lead for good en route to the victory.
Senior guard Jacqueline Rywalt (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) netted a night best seven assists and 11 points (4-6 from the floor and 2-3 from the three point arc).
Rebecca Rabeiro (midland Park, N.J.) also scored 11 points, while senior Stefani Alston (West Orange, N.J.) grabbed a team high eight rebounds, two steals and 10 points in the loss.
Forward Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) came off the bench to net 10 points (5-7 from the floor).
With the loss, the Lady Chargers end the regular season with an overall record of 11-17 and a conference record of 11-8. DC has earned the third seed in the North Division and will travel to Goldey-Beacom College, who has earned the second seed in the South Division, this coming Saturday.
