WOMEN'S BASKTBALL DROP CONTEST TO AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE
Albany, N.Y. (12/17/17) The Dominican College women's basketball team fell to the Yellow jackets of American International College, 69-48 this afternoon on day two of the College of Saint Rose Holiday Classic played in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

With the win, Dominican falls to 3-8 overall, while American International College improves to 6-7 overall.
Freshman Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) led the Lady Chargers with team bests of 10 points and eight rebounds.
Ciera Rivera (Pomona, N.Y.) and Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) each netted eight points and combined for six caroms in the loss.
Senior Rebecca Rabeiro (Midland Park, N.J.) tallied three assists and three steals, while Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) and Amanda Gordon (Teaneck, N.J.) contributed six points a-piece in reserve.
Dominican struggled offensively, shooting just 32.7% (17-52) from the floor and 37.5% (3-8) from the three point arc. The team was better from the charity stripe as they went 11-16 (73.3%).
The Lady Chargers will return to action on December 30th as they travel to Post University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game in the Drubner Center.
