WOMEN'S BASKETBALL EXTENDS THEIR WINNING STREAK TO SIX WITH WIN OVER BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE
Bloomfield, N.J. (2/20/21) The Dominican College Women’s Basketball team earned their sixth straight win as they outlast the Bears of Bloomfield College by a score of 58-53.

The Lady Chargers improve to 6-1 (5-1 CACC) after the win and have extended their winning streak to six straight games.
Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) led the way for DC with 16 points and added six rebounds. Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) finished the game with 10 points and three rebounds. Elle Nittinger (Waverly, N.Y.) added eight points while Korina Guerra (White Plains, N.Y.) led the team in assists with five and steals with four.
Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) finished the game with six points, four rebounds, and three steals. Jaid Harrell (Kingston, N.Y.) recorded six rebounds.
For the Bears, Da'Shanique Ruffin led all scorers with 19 points and added 12 rebounds to complete a double-double. Alisha Mumford added 11 points and recorded six assists and six rebounds.
Both teams played an evenly matched game. DC's largest lead was nine points and BC's largest lead was four. DC's bench outscored BC's bench 20-5.
The Lady Chargers held a two-point lead to start the fourth quarter. DC maintained a 53-51 lead with just over three minutes to play. The Lady Chargers never lost the late-game lead and secured the win over the Bears.
The Lady Chargers will look to keep their winning streak alive when they return home to host Nyack College on Tuesday, February 23rd at 3:30 P.M.
