The Lady Chargers improve to 13-11 (8-6 CACC) and move into second place in the CACC North Division standings.
Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) led the team in points with 15 and added two steals. Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) finished with 11 points, seven assists which was a team-high, and four rebounds.
Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) added 12 points, five rebounds, and two assists while Naabea-Janaan Assibey-Bonsu (Central Islip, N.Y.) provided nine points off of the bench.
Olivia Levy (Stony Point, N.Y.) recorded a double-double in the win by scoring 10 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
For the Wildcats, Emily Anash led the way with 16 points and nine rebounds. Sabreen Muslim recorded a double-double for Wilmington by scoring 14 points and recording 10 rebounds. Jade Roberts finished with nine points and five assists.
The Lady Chargers finished the game shooting 49.2% from the field. DC jumped out to a quick 12-3 lead in the opening quarter and led Wilmington by seven points by the end of the quarter.
The Lady Chargers' defense held the Wildcats offense to under 20 points each quarter. DC held a 42-27 lead at halftime and never looked back from there. The Lady Chargers continued their strong play in the second half and secured the win.
Dominican will be back in action when they host Bloomfield College on Tuesday, February 15th at 5:30 PM.
