Cicero, N.Y. (9/11/22) The Dominican University New York women's golf team tied for first place at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational held at the Lake Shore Yacht and Country Club yesterday and today.

Dominican compiled team scores of 339 and 326 for a two-day total of 665 to tie with Adelphi University for the team title.

Leah Ayers (Wethersfield, Conn.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she finished in third place.  Yesterday she shot a 72 and followed with an 81 today for a two-day total of 153.  In round two action, she recorded two birdies on holes five and 15.

Sister Taylor Ayers (Wethersfield, Conn.) also finished in the top ten as she tied for seventh place with a total score of 165 (86, 79).

Andrea Clark (Welwyn, U.K.) finished round two with two birdies on the front nine on holes one and eight.

The Lady Chargers return to action on September 16th when they travel to the Evann Parker Memorial, hosted by Mercyhurst University.
