Pleasantville, N.Y. (2/25/18) The Dominican College women's lacrosse team fell in non-conference action to host Pace University, 21-4, this afternoon in a game played at Pace Stadium.

The Lady Chargers scored the first goal of the contest as junior Jenna Kelleher (Holbrook N.Y.) scored her first goal of the season off the pass from senior Jeanie Peluso (Stony Point, N.Y.) for the early lead.  The Setters roared back with nine straight goals to jump out to a 9-1 lead before Jenna Fox (Stony Point, N.Y.) broke the run with a free-position goal.  A 5-0 Pace run closed out the first half and propelled them to a 14-2 lead.

Following a Pace man-up goal, sophomore Melissa Peysson (East Meadow, N.Y.) netted her first season goal off the pass from Fox .  Fox netted her second game goal with 14:45 to play off the dish from Peluso which made the score 17-4.  The Setters closed out the game on a 4-0 run for the final 21-4 score.

Senior goalie Cara Moran (Tomkins Cove, N.Y.) made seven saves in the loss.

Fox finished with two goals and one assist for the Lady Chargers.
