JENNA FOX RECORDS HER 150TH CAREER GOAL AS LADY CHARGERS DROP CONFERENCE FINALE TO JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY
Philadelphia, Pa. (4/27/19) The Dominican College women’s lacrosse team fell in their season finale to the Jefferson University Rams by a score of 17-12.

Jenna Fox (Stony Point, N.Y.) scored her 150th career goal in the second half and finished the game with four total goals in the game. Fox also added two assists for the Lady Chargers.
The Lady Chargers finish the regular season with a record of 5-9 (5-4 CACC) and the Rams improve to 9-5 (8-1 CACC).
Alayna Heegan (North Babylon, N.Y.) led the way for the Lady Chargers with five goals on eight shots. Jenna Kelleher (Holbrook, N.Y.) scored three goals for DC. Rebecca Nutting (Marcellus, N.Y.) started in goal for the Lady Chargers and recorded nine saves.
Sarah von Lange scored five goals to lead the Rams. Kanha Stockford added four goals in the win. Teagen Hay and Erin Eckert each added two goals. Ashley Lamey, Lexi Patania, Laura Dunne, and Camryn Sullivan each added one goal in the win.
Kelsey Kaplowitz started in goal and recorded the win for the Rams. Kaplowitz improved to 4-4 on the season and made six saves. Melanie Goldstein entered the game in relief and recorded one save.
The Rams used a strong first half to take a 13-4 lead into halftime over the Lady Chargers. The Rams used a five-goal run to help extend their lead.
The Lady Chargers outscored the Rams in the second half to help cut into the deficit. DC scored the last three goals of the game but the Rams were able to secure the 17-12 win.
The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 30th when they host the first round of the CACC conference tournament at 4:00 PM at Torne Valley Sports Complex.
