Hillburn, N.Y. (3/10/20) The Dominican College women's lacrosse game fell in non-conference action to the visiting Yellow Jackets of American International College, 22-10, this afternoon in a game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.

Following the loss Dominican falls to 0-4 overall, while AIC improves to 3-1 on the season.

Seniors Alayna Heegan (North Babylon, N.Y.) and Jenna Fox (Stony Point, N.Y.) scored three goals a-piece in the 202 home opener.  Fox added a team high three assists, while recording her 100th career assist with 2:43 remaining in the first half off the dish to Heegan.

Midfielder Sydney Hanifin (Stony Point, N.Y.) recorded two goals in the contest, including her first collegiate score with 11:56 remaining in the game on a free position shot.

Sophomore Rebecca Nutting (Marcellus, N.Y.) made eight saves in the loss.

The Lady Chargers are scheduled to return to action on Thursday evening when they travel to non-conference opponent, Molloy College.
