DOMINICAN'S JENNA FOX NAMED CACC STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE MONTH for APRIL 2020

(5/6/20) Dominican College women's lacrosse standout Jenna Fox on Wednesday was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Student-Athlete of the Month for April, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Fox earned the award for combining athletic success, academic success and community engagement outreach.

(5/6/20) Dominican College women's lacrosse standout Jenna Fox on Wednesday was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Student-Athlete of the Month for April, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Fox earned the award for combining athletic success, academic success and community engagement outreach.
One of the top players in the CACC during her career, Fox recorded her 100th career assist versus American International back on March 10. She was also named to the CACC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll once this season before the campaign was ended in mid March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The senior from Stony Point, N.Y., has scored 167 goals during her career, while logging 101 assists for 268 points. She has also collected 122 ground balls, logged 260 draw controls and posted 72 caused turnovers. Fox is Dominican's all-time leader in assists, points and draws, while also ranking second in caused TOs, third in goals and ground balls.
Fox was named to the All-CACC First Team in each of her first three seasons (2017-19), while also being named the 2017 CACC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year.
In the classroom, Fox sports a 3.85 cumulative grade point average in her major of education. She was named Dominican's top Sophomore Scholar-Athlete and is a three-time selection to the CACC All-Academic Team. Fox was also inducted into the Dominican College New York Sigma Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma in 2019.
In the community, Fox helps run a lacrosse clinic for children K-2nd, and coaches a travel team called Metro Lacrosse for 5th and 6th graders.
The CACC Student-Athlete of the Month Award is given out each month from September through May, which spans the length of the academic calendar. The award recognizes athletic and academic success, while also highlighting student-athletes giving back to their local community. Fox becomes the first Charger to win the monthly award this season.
