Millersville, Pa. (3/5/22) The Millersville University women's lacrosse team topped the visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers, 20-5, this afternoon in a non-conference game played on Chryst Field.

The win improves the Marauders record to 2-0, while the Lady Chargers fall to 1-2 on the season.

Midfielder Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.) recorded the hat trick for Dominican, scoring all three goals in the fourth quarter.

Freshman Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.) netted the other two goals for DC, while Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) added an assist.

Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) made a career high 11 saves in the loss.

Dominican returns to action tomorrow as they take on the University of the District of Columbia in non-conference action.
