2018 CACC WOMEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET IS SET; TOURNAMENT BEGINS ON MONDAY WITH FIRST ROUND
New Haven, Conn. (10/24/18) The bracket is set for the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Championship, as all conference matches concluded on Wednesday afternoon and the top-eight seeds have been determined. The championship will begin on Monday with the first-round games at the sites of the highest seeds. Defending CACC Champion Georgian Court University is the tournament's top seed, as the Lions locked up 34 points in conference matches during the regular season.

Monday's four first-round winners will advance to the CACC semifinals on Friday, Nov. 2, as the two matches will be held at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury, Conn. The two semifinal winners will meet in the CACC Championship Final on Sunday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m., on LaMoy Field on the Post University campus in Waterbury. The champion will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament, which will be held the following weekend at a site to be determined.
