LIST OF HONOREES: 2020-21 CACC WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

New Haven, Conn. (7/14/21) Eighty-nine (89) student-athletes on Wednesday were named to the 2020-21 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 89 honorees represent all 13 CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.

Dominican College had five student-athletes that were named to the All-Academic Team.  Megan Geary (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) and Bailey Cummings (Clarkstown, N.Y.) make their second appearance on the team with Geary sporting a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 in her major of Occupational Therapy and Cummings maintaing a cumulative grade point average of 3.81 in her major of Education.  Earning their first All-Academic accolades are Lauren Buchanan (Union, N.J.), Jada Jiles (Windsor Locks, Conn.) and Victoria Bennett (Merrick, N.Y.).  Buchanan maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 in her major of Education, Jiles holds a cumulative grade point average of 3.64 in her major of Nursing and Bennett sports a cumulative grade point average of 3.57 in her major of Biology.

Thomas Jefferson University, which won the 2020-21 CACC WSOC Championship, led the way with 12 honorees, including Payton Cole's team-best 3.99 cumulative grade point average in her major of health sciences. Caldwell University was next with 10 student-athletes being recognized, including Megan Feehan, who had the top GPA on her squad with a 3.95 in psychology. 

Three student-athletes posted perfect 4.0 GPAs, including Wilmington University's Krysta Memis, Post University's Audrey Poehler and Nyack College's Milena Ricken.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
♦ Thirty (30) of the honorees earned GPAs of 3.90 or higher.

♦ Twenty-eight (28) of the honorees made the CACC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team for the second time.

♦ Twelve (12) of the honorees made the All-Academic squad for the third time.
