Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/1/22) The Dominican University New York women's soccer team downed the Lions of Lincoln University to improve to 2-1 on the season. 

The Lady Chargers defeated the Lions by a score of 9-0. Dominican N.Y. scored five goals in the first half and followed up with four goals in the second half. 

Kelly Harris (Blauvelt, N.Y.) scored a team-high two goals and took six total shots in the win. Julia Dunne (Babylon, N.Y.) also took six shots and scored one goal.  

Kaitlyn Zeeb (Piscataway, N.J.) and Danielle Zacher (Shirley, N.Y.) each added one goal and took three shots. Zacher also recorded one assist. 

Arianna Vizcaino (Elmsford, N.Y.) Bryanna Foti (Newburgh, N.Y.), and Mathilde Skovbakke (Kolding, Denmark) each scored one goal. Alissa Madura (Warwick, N.Y.) added one goal and one assist. 

Tara Long (Myshall, Ireland), Isabella Wysocki (Rahway, N.J.), and Jamieson Druckenmiller (Beacon, N.Y.) all contributed one assist. 

Stella Paton (Edinburgh, Scotland) started in net for the Lady Chargers and earned the win to improve her record to 2-0 on the season. 

Lynne Garofalo (Ridgefield, N.J.) and Allison Spong (Garnerville, N.Y.) also played in goal for Dominican. Garofalo played 23:32 of the game and recorded two saves. Spong played 40:05 and added one save. 

Dominican will be back in action on Saturday, September 3rd when they host the Purple Knights of St. Michael's College at 12:00 PM.
