Lafayette Hill, Pa. (9/24/22)  The Dominican University New York women's soccer team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action this evening to host, Chestnut Hill College, 5-2, in a game played on Victory Field #1.

With the loss Dominican falls to 4-4-1 overall and 2-3 in conference play, while the Griffins improve to 4-2-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the CACC.

The Griffins got the scoring going in the fourth minute of action for the early lead.  Dominican countered exactly four minutes later when Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week, Kaitlyn Zeeb (Piscataway, N.J.) scored a goal of the dish from Kara Hill (New Milford, N.J.) to make the score 1-1.

CHC regained the lead a little over two minutes later with a goal and extended the lead to 3-1 at the 13:13 mark.  The Griffins made it 4-1 at 39:28 with a score.

The Griffins got the scoring going in the second half with a goal, but Dominican closed out the contest with the final goal at 73:43 off the foot of Isabella Wysocki (Rahway, N.J.).

Lauren Drummond (Kitchener, Ontario, Canada) made three saves in the first half, while Stella Paton (Edinburgh, Scotland ) made two saves in the second half.

The Lady Chargers return to action on Tuesday evening when they travel to Alliance University in CACC action.
