DOMINICAN SCORES FIVE SECOND HALF GOALS TO DOWN ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY

The Lady Chargers scored five unanswered goals all in the second half to secure the victory. Kaitlyn Zeeb (Piscataway, N.J.) recorded a hat trick in the game to help lead Dominican to the victory. Zeeb's three goals extends her season total to a team-leading eight goals.
Dominican improves to 5-4-1 (3-3 CACC) after the win. Alliance falls to 2-6-1 (1-3-1 CACC).
Goalkeeper Stella Paton (Edinburgh, Scotland) made five saves and recorded the win for the Lady Chargers. Celine Grothe recorded three saves for Alliance but suffered the loss.
Dominican fired 18 total shots at the Alliance goalkeeper and recorded 10 on goal.
Arianna Vizcaino (Elmsford, N.Y.) completed a five-point game with two goals and one assist all in the second half. Abby Montera (New City, N.Y.) and Sabine Sorensen (Ballerup, Denmark) each added one goal in the win.
Isabella Wysocki (Rahway, N.J.) added two assists which brings her season total to nine which is a team-high. Alissa Madura (Warwick, N.Y.) and Madeline Friedman (Plano, Texas) also added one assist each.
Tess Pearce scored both goals for Alliance and Alexis Kufta assisted on both goals.
AU took a 1-0 lead early on in the first half but Dominican answered back with back to back goals by Kaitlyn Zeeb which gave the Lady Chargers the lead.
Dominican held a 2-1 lead at halftime and just over two minutes into the second half, Pearce scored her second goal of the game to tie the score 2-2.
Zeeb put Dominican back on top with her third consecutive goal to complete the hat trick and started a five-goal run in the second half for Dominican.
Montera and Sorensen each scored later in the half to extend the lead to 5-2. Vizcaino scored the last two goals of the game and Dominican closed out the victory.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on October, 5th when they return home to host conference rival Caldwell University at 2:00 PM.
