DOMINICAN'S ISABELLA WYSOCKI NAMED TO ALL-CACC TEAM

New Haven, Conn. (11/7/23) Wilmington University standout Manuela Restrepo on Tuesday was named the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Player of the Year, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The Player of the Year Award is presented by CollegeAve Student Loans. Restrepo, who was also named to the All-CACC First Team, was voted as the league's top player by the conference's 12 head coaches in the sport.

In addition to Restrepo, Thomas Jefferson University had a trio of student-athletes earn the remaining major player awards including Alexa Callahan (CACC Rookie of the Year), Carly Yeager (CACC Defensive Player of the Year) and Liv Riddel (CACC Goalkeeper of the Year). Wilmington University's Jeff Zoyac was named the CACC Coach of the Year and Felician University was named the CACC Team Sportsmanship Award winner.

Dominican University's Isabella Wysocki (Rahway, N.J.) was named to the All-CACC Second Team. This is her second All-Conference honors as she was named to the First Team in 2022. Wysocki finished tied for second on the team in both assists and goals, while being fourth in the conference in assists, fifth in shots and 20th in points.

Restrepo leads the CACC with 29 points including 10 goals and nine assists. Her 10 tallies is tied for second best in the conference and her nine helpers paces the conference. Restrepo helped guide WilmU to the second seed in this week's championship tournament.

Callahan is tied for third in the CACC with 22 points and tops the conference with 11 markers. Four of her 11 goals went for game-winners and is the best in the conference as well.

Yeager and Riddel have anchored a defensive group for Jefferson which leads the league with seven shutouts.

Zoyac guided WilmU to an 11-3-4 record during the season and a current ranking in the NCAA Division II East Region rankings.
