LADY CHARGERS AND LIGHTNING PLAY TO 0-0 DRAW

Wilmington, Del. (10/19/24)  The Dominican University New York women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with host, Goldey-Beacom College, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at NCS Field.

Following the tie the Lady Chargers now stand at 5-6-1 overall and 3-3-1 in conference play, while the Lightning are 4-8-1 and 3-4-1 in the CACC.

Dominican had 11 shots in the contest with five of them being on goal, compared to GBC's nine total shots (2 on goal).

Alissa Madura led the team with four shots in the game.

DUNY also held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Goalie Brielle Bell made two saves in the tie.

The Lady Chargers return to action on Wedensday afternoon when they host Post University on O'Brien Field.  Game time is slated for 3pm.
