DOMINICAN TURNED AWAY BY KNIGHTS

Flushing, N.Y. (10/30/24) The Dominican University New York women's soccer team fell in their final non-conference game of the 2024 season to the Knights of Queens College by a score of 3-0.

With the loss, the Lady Chargers are now 6-7-2 overall while the Knights improve to 9-5-1 overall after the win. 

Nelly Arvidsson got the start in goal for the Lady Chargers and made six saves but suffered the loss. 

Samantha Hines-Hirsch and Alexa Kieblesz split time in goal for the Knights with Hines-Hirsch recording the win. 

The Knights jumped out in front with two goals in the first half by Jenna Rosenberger and Julia Ragone and brought the 2-0 lead into halftime. 

QC added one more goal late in the 89th minute on their way to the 3-0 win. 

Dominican returns home and returns to conference play this Saturday when they host Holy Family University for Senior Day.
