MUKHERJEE AND O'BRIEN NAMED TO CACC WOMEN'S TENNIS ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
New Haven, Conn. (5/9/23) Twenty-one (21) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. All six CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.

All six CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.
Dominican University New York had two players receive All-Academic honors as Rupkatha Mukherjee and Ava O'Brien were both named to the team for the first time.
Both of the finalists in the 2022 CACC Women's Tennis Championship back in October led the way with five honorees apiece, including champion Wilmington University and runner-up Thomas Jefferson University.
NOTES ON ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
♦ Four student-athletes posted perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point averages (Chestnut Hill College's Nele Haag, Jefferson's Nicole Hrbkova, Post's Julia D'Ochio and WilmU's Jess Purdy).
♦ 13 of the 21 student-athletes notched GPAs of 3.90 or higher.
♦ Four were named to the CACC Women's Tennis All-Academic Team for the third time in their respective careers.
♦ Six were named to the unit for the second time in their respective careers.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
