LADY CHARGERS EDGE EAGLES
Middlebury, Conn. (10/6/23) The Dominican University New York women's tennis team edged host Post University, 4-3, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played at Edgewood Tennis and Bath.
With the win Dominican improves to 1-5 overall and 1-5 in the conference, while the Eagles fall to 6-6 overall and 3-4 in the CACC.
Bipasha Mehn (Hyderabad, India) and Angelina Amelkina (Moscow, Russia) both went 2-0 on the afternoon with Mehn picking up wins at first doubles and first singles and Amelkina winning her second doubles and second single matches.
Lia Sarjveladze (Tbilisi, Georgia) earned a victory at sixth singles to secure the victory.
