KNIGHTS DEFEAT WOMEN'S TENNIS IN NON-CONFERENCE MATCH
Monsey, N.Y. (10/9/23) The Dominican University New York women's tennis team lost a non-conference match to the visiting Knights of Queens College, 5-2, this afternoon in a contest held at Manny Welder Park.
Bipasha Mehn (Hyderabad, India) went 2-0 on the afternoon after winning her doubles match with partner Selina Donecker (Neuwied, Germany), 7-5. She followed with a hard fought victory at #1 singles by the scores of 7-5, 3-6, 11-9 to give the Lady Chargers their first point of the match.
Junior Angelina Amelkina (Moscow, Russia) picked up a win at #2 singles in straight sets by scores of 6-2, 6-2.
