WOMEN'S TRACK COMPETE AT QUEENSBOROUGH RELAYS
Bayside, N.Y. (4/15/18) The Dominican College women's track and field team traveled to the Queensborough Relays which was held this past Saturday.

Sophomore Ashley-Ann Courts (Riverhead, N.Y.) took fifth place in the 100m dash with a time of 13.22. Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) finished in eightth place with a time of 13.48 and Esther Galo (Allendale, N.J.) ran a time of 13.66 to take 14th place.
In the 400m dash sisters Ina Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) and Kim Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) took 10th and 11th place with times of 1:07.43 and 1:08.05. Sophomore Victoria Ostolozaga (Stony Point, N.Y.) finished in 26th place with a time of 1:15.90.
Freshman Andrea Nardone (Stony Point, N.Y.) ran in the 1500m run where she finished in seventh place with a time of 5:35.73 and Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) took 11th place with a time of 5:46.99.
In the 4x100m relay the team of Jean-Pierre, Galo, Adji Ndiaye (Bronx, N.Y.) and Courts ran a time of 52.63 to finish in fourth place. That same team also finished in third place in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:52.10.
The 4x400m relay team of I. Koeder, Jean-Pierre, K. Koeder and Nardone finished in fourth place with a time of 4:40.79.
The team of Judy Auguste (Westbury, N.Y.), Ostolozaga, Chelsea Crawford (Montgomery, N.Y.) and Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) took part in the sprint medley relay and finished third with a time of 5:12.87.
Ndiaye and Courts competed in the high jump where they took second and third place respectively with a jump of 1.45m (4 feet, 9 inches).
In the shot put, junior Abigail Jacquet (Garnerville, N.Y.) finished in eighth place with a throw of 8.95m (29 feet, 4.5 inches). Auguste also took part in the event where she took 10th place with a throw of 8.63m (28 feet, 3.75 inches).
