WOMEN'S TRACK TAKE PART IN CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lakewood, N.J. (5/8/22) Members of the Dominican College women's track team competed at the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Track and Field Championships held today on the campus of Georgian Court University.

Highlights

The 4x400m relay team of Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.), Ann McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.), Steffy Espejo (Tunja, Colombia) and Anna Murphy (Holbrook, N.Y.) took seventh place with a time of 4:32.32.
In the 4x100m relay, the team of Melissa Moise (Spring Valley, N.Y.), Joseph-Jarvis, Jada Hammond (Nyack, N.Y.) and Vanessa Greaves (Bridgetown, Barbados) finished in eighth place with a time of 54.37.
McCormack competed in 5000m run and took eighth place with a time of 20:52.71.
The 1500m run saw McCormack take ninth place with a time of 5:31.97.

Other Peformances

In the 100m hurdles, Hammond finished in 14th place with a time of 18.73.
Anna Murphy (Holbrook, N.Y.) competed in the 800m race and took 11th place with a time of 2:36.64.
In the 100m dash, Armanie Abreu (Brentwood, N.Y.) finished in 16th place with a time of 13.81.

The field events of the CACC Championships will be held on Wednesday, May 11th beginning at 10:30am on the campus of Georgian Court University.
