GREAVES FINISHES SECOND IN JAVELIN ON FINAL DAY OF CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS

(5/11/22) Dominican College women's track and field thrower, Vanessa Greaves (Bridgetown, Barbados), took second place in the javelin throw on day three of the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Track and Field Championships held today on the campus of Georgian Court University.

Lakewood, N.J. (5/11/22) Dominican College women's track and field thrower, Vanessa Greaves (Bridgetown, Barbados), took second place in the javelin throw on the final day of the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Track and Field Championships held today on the campus of Georgian Court University.

Highlights

  • Greaves took second in the javelin throw with a throw of 40.11m (131' 7").
  • In the hammer throw, Stacy Eliezer (New City, N.Y.) finished in sixth place with a throw of 31.41m (103'1").

Other Performances

  • Sabrina Hernandez (Stony Point, N.Y.) competed in the shot put and took 13th place with a throw of 9.85m (32'3.75"), while Eliezer finished in 18th place with a throw of 8.45m (27'8.75").
  • The discus throw saw Hernandez take 15th place with a throw of 20.28m (66'6").
